"i hate roses"

this morning, the breakfast club fought the most trecherous brunch obstacle...mother's day, aka: biggest brunch celebration of the year. we thought we'd beat the mobs of mommies and screaming little ones by going to a place off the beaten track. unfortunately i'd have to say the leaky roof was the worst place we've been to in pdx so far.

the dry spot: all the ladies got beautiful red roses for mother's day, even though we're not mothers. the atmosphere was adorable and the wait staff though bogged down, was really great.

the drowners: soggy eggs, soggy french toast, burnt toast and the orange juice definately had some funk to it. too bad i really liked this place.

in the end: go for drinks, not for brunch ;)
